passion on toast
just in from flying home.been a crazy few days.lame attempts at decompression after the tour.it is so hard to stop.howcome it’s so hard to stop.
the last shows lived up to the rest of the tour.it was crazy how the power blitzed round the venues we played.
i know i go on about this and it’s not as though i think we shine evry night but this tour was pretty consistently amazing.thanks for your energy and vibe.really.really.really.where would we be without you…..
night after night
however we began the set,once the intro tape rolls;the roars fly everywhere like a broken dam of noise.it is one of the joys of life for me.the sound of you.
the understanding we have.the flight we board.
we never knew what to expect from this tour.after all these are troubled times.there is so much uncertainty.the air is paranoid.i’m paranoid.
definetly at a cross-roads and that just shows we’re alive.
BONUS-back with winston.i took him out for a steak as soon as i got home.then a coffee in the park.it’s pretty here where we live.a small village in the centre of london.it works for me.
there’s no-one else here so it feels weird to have been surrounded by so many people to then be alone although i’m with the boy so it’s good.
i had some weird bug in my body since just before easter.
maybe i need to replace my system with clear water or flush myself out.
i don’t know.it’s been there too long.

i am only here for ten days before a weird acoustic show in florida then the tour restarts on the 26th or something.
so some guitar and also the video for inflatable next week.i think it is gonna be really good.i wish we had already shot it so you could see it but we’re on the way.
i wonder if inflatable is on the radio.no-one tells me so i don’t ask!!!

i wonder who has it,i guess most people burn cds now-
we’re still trying to figure the summer and all that…
i will write as soon as i can.it was good to see you guys out there at the shows and tell me the journals had given something to you.
also the forum is cool ———-the way so many of you are touched by the journals surprises me.
i write them unconditionally so i expect nothing in return but it is good to hear what you have to say and i read it.
the chris isaak thing came out and again thanks for your support.
