Communicator

Lyrics

somewhere
sometime
all things
will be fine and it never seems to stop
wonder if
i’ve met my wife

somewhere
sometime
all things will be fine
and it never seems enough

wonder if
i’ve met my wife
splinter left
focus right
focus right

this mortal soil around me
mortal feeling i have found
surrounded by your glory
hold me now so that i never drown

and it never seems to stop

wonder if
i’ve met my wife
splinter left
focus right
focus right
focus right

About The Song

wtf does that word mean?:

splinter [v.] to split into fragments, parts, or factions

Band Thoughts:

“Communicator is actually a song that no-one else knew or particularly was interested in but there are times when no-one trusts the outcome as they can’t hear it or something. so we just played it together once and that was the record. we tried it live once and it confused the audience (i think we played it all stinky) and the band has been terrified of it ever since!!but i still love it.”- Gavin

Staff Thoughts:

“A well suited arrangement. But don’t ask me to explain this song, cause I wouldn’t have an answer.”- Laura

“This is an awful long song with only a few lyrics. Another good Bush song.”-Brandyn

Fan Thoughts:

“wonder if I’ve met my wife” – Could be about Gwen, depends when the song was written as they met in 1996 (and on that tour they went out), so it could be about Gwen. – Hannah
