coming through the mind challenges
hey there everyone-here i am
alive and well in los angeles.the last journal i wrote was when i arrived here. since then of course a whole bunch of things have developed and i should have been home in london days ago.
first off i have missed my friend andy's wedding-which is a drag and makes me sad a bit.robin went so he was representing but still it bums me out i missed such a massive day.

then the art show in london for sebastian horsley is on tonight(thirsday),in fact in the next few hours.did i ever write about this???anyhow it's a trip.........
i cut and scored a short film of sebastian getting crucified.really crucified. in the phillipines.
he's a painter and seems to need to identify with his subject beyond the realms and limits of most artists.
the show is comprised of his paintings, some amazing photographs by dennis morris and the film on a loop in another room.
it's in london at a space in crucifix lane south london-.all you excellent lucky londoners can check it out.it's on for two weeks i think.......
the reason i have been here so long is because i got asked to sing a song for a film that comes out this summer called XXX-it's the new vin diesel film.
so i did a track with the excellent and exemplary glenn ballard.such a trip playing and singing with different people in a different environment.
it's not a bush thing -it's going under my name but i got some cool help.
josh frieze,joel scheer and a guy called lance-all really good and natural.
it was cool to play with them.
next week is the video which is as we speak still being written.
so i'm hanging,winston is fine at home.this weekend is some time off and then the shoot and then back home to go on tour in europe.
the last two weeks of this record really.
i've missed playing and we plan to see out this record in the style it deserves. so spirits are good.the boys are well.
it is a new day we move on and it's ok.
the last few weeks have been tough and draining as you know but there you go.what did i expect???it's a tightrope balance.
a mind challenge.a non-stop test.of nerve.of grace.and of life.
go grab it.
