everyone is a love song

One night in.the first show is done.charlotte north Carolina.20,000 people In various states of undress to the backdrop of downtown.we were fresh(?) off the plane from florida and the boys had been there for one day.
The show was good I think,you get so lost in playing that perspective is too subjective and it can come down to individual moments as far as your head is concerned.
The crowd was loud!!!and since they’d been there for hours and hours it was good to hear.as I said the sound of you.
When me bone and chris arrived
We ate with the boys at a good restaurant near the hotel we were staying.it is good to break bread and loop the vibe between us.this is a short run of a couple of weeks so the horizon is well in sight and the focus is good.
They tell me that we will not,at this point be coming back for the june shows as we wished.frustrating for me but there you go.maybe a chance to watch the world cup in it’s entirety which will be novel.
I am also part of an art show in London in june.

In the meantime
I will be writing some more songs and redefining the sound and intent.of course there has to be a point to making music and the more records you do the more singular that voice should become.
There has been a ton of speculation about Nigel and rumours and accusations flying around like spinning tops.
News reports in England on the radio and the press.
The band is not breaking up.for one.as far as Nigel goes he really is spending time with his family and it is an uncertain road ahead.as always.
All I can tell you for sure is I would like to make another bush record that makes the whole world sing and so the best way to that end is writing.
The rest takes care of itself.have you noticed how wishing a situation or forcing a situation has no effect on it whatsoever.it unfolds the way it has to.
Me I stress the hell out of things but in this case I am resigned to fate here.
It seems clearer day by day.
I will keep you posted.of course I think I know how it will resolve but I already tell you enough or more than I ever thought possible given this forum. Anyhow I wonder how many people read this?
We are making our way to Dothan Alabama where we play the civic centre.we are driving through pure Americana.not mall stuff but great old houses where a horse would be more suited than a fancy Cadillac.
Boy this is a big country.

Oh my god we just pulled up to a gas station and there is a guy hauling a tractor next to us also filling up.and another tractor on the other side.it’s so cowboy here.wicked.
I’m gonna get off the bus and find adventure as we refill.a diner.maybe sam sheperd and Jessica lange ?

No such luck but a coupla calls home in the sun.
I’m tired now.it’s tough to sleep anywhere let alone a bus.maybe at the hotel.
