Album eve

Hi folks
Jet lag has kicked in brutal fashion and so I am witness to the un-godly and very un-rockin'roll early morning rush hour in Los Angeles. I've been here six days now exhausting the possibilities of my wardrobe and I'm now starting to wonder about tonight, which is an intimate gathering at the Roxy to launch our latest opus. I'm not sure if they are butterflies in my stomach but if they are then the tequilla induced madness of the weekend will surely be making them feel a little delicate.

This weekend has taught me never to trust margarita's created by the rhythmic hands of a drummer - the insanity they provoke is messy and the after effects are..well..religious in their intensity and make the prospect of another drink worthy of prior thought and serious consideration.

Went to see the Strokes last week - twice in fact. They were so good the first night that a last minute decision to rush across town and see the second show was vital and those boys don't let you down. Joe Strummer is playing tomorrow night so we've been spoiled by bands since we got here. I'll leave you all now - I've got to ring home.

Enjoy the album 'folks'
